Accreditation Final Report – Congratulations Western Health Staff & Volunteers

Western Health participated in an organisation wide Accreditation against the eight National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards from March 2nd – March 6th, 2020. Western Health received the final Accreditation report from ACHS in May 2020. The report highlights the achievements of Western Health with all nine assessors conveying their positive feedback in relation to our services, advising we have met all of the requirements for continued Accreditation, with no formal recommendations made.

The primary aim of the eight NSQHS Standards (2nd Edition) is to protect the public from harm and improve the quality of health care.

The ACHS Accreditation report reflects that Western Health has been successful with translating knowledge of Best Care from Board to Ward, and the Live Best Care approach has been broadly adopted at point of care.

The positive feedback received from the assessors is recognition of the continued dedication of Western Health staff and volunteers to provide Best Care for our community.  Western Health staff and volunteers should be very proud.
